This blog has been established as part of the News and Current Affairs summer course at the University of Technology, Sydney. All students were assigned by our tutor to cover the media’s performance in a specific area of news and current affairs reporting.
This blog covers the HEALTH beat. I have named it ‘A Biopsy of Health in the News’ in an effort to reflect the nature of the study. Similar to that of a biopsy, this blog attempts to examine a sample of a living body, perhaps not for “diagnostic purposes”, but at least food for thought!
